Something I'm Very Proud Of...

I earned my law degree as an evening student while working full-time as a writer and editor during the day. I sometimes struggled to balance all of my commitments, but I felt an enormous sense of fulfillment when I reached my goal of becoming an attorney. I am proud that I chose that unconventional path to becoming a lawyer, and that I maintained the focus, dedication and energy to do my best in both spheres.

What I Love about My Work...

Litigation is exciting because no two days are the same. I enjoy every aspect of my work -- meeting with our clients, writing and research, taking depositions, and trial. The variety is fun. I also love that our firm helps individual people redress injuries, solve legal problems and get access to justice.

Hobbies and Interests:

live music, reading novels, playing guitar, writing.

People I'd like to Meet:

Chan Marshall, Margaret Atwood, the inventor of Splenda.

Favorite Quote:

"Integrity is the essence of everything successful." R. Buckminster Fuller

If I Weren't a Lawyer, I'd Be:

very sad!
