John Corbett

Something I'm Very Proud Of...

My wife, my five wonderful children and my beautiful new granddaughter.

What I Love about My Work...

Since I was a kid I have always rooted for the underdog. My favorite book and movie was Robin Hood. Representing ordinary people against large corporations and insurance companies allows me to play Robin Hood every day. The men, women, children and families I fight for brings me great joy. I can't think of a more fulfilling profession.

Hobbies and Interests:

Sports. I am an avid Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks fan. I like to golf and fish. My wife and I enjoy dining at good restaurants, enjoy good wine and good friends.

People I'd like to Meet:

Socrates, Thomas Jefferson, Oscar Wilde, Mark Twain, Clarence Darrow and Babe Ruth.

Favorite Quote:

“As long as the world shall last there will be wrongs, and if no man objected and no man rebelled, those wrongs would last forever.” Clarence Darrow.

If I Weren't a Lawyer, I'd Be:

A teacher. Teaching children or young adults in a manner that makes them want to be in your classroom to learn would be a wonderful experience
